Meet the Founder - Leia Stea

Fun facts about Leia (that’s me :D)

• I grew up in Queens NY before moving to Florida

• Yes, I was named after Princess Leia. People still mispronounce my name though

• I graduated from Hagerty Highschool in May 2024

• I've been writing "Welcome to EmeraldCity!" since I was in middle school and designed most of the characters in the series

• My passion for show-writing started all the way back in 2nd grade when I would play pretend spies with my friend at recess and call it "spy movie". A year later I tried to actually film a spy movie series with my sister and friends

• I almost convinced myself into becoming an art teacher before I settled on actually following my dream of being a show-writer and director

• As a kid I’d write concepts for shows/movies and try to mail them to studios (obviously that didn't work. I was 8.)
